5 ways to support our work

We are a charity that relies on volunteers and the generosity of our supporters to raise vital funds. We are immensely grateful for any support you can give.

We are thrilled that Franco and his band Las Chanchas have chosen to donate all proceeds from their June 5 event to the Baobab Centre!

Franco has kindly set up a LocalGiving page to raise funds to help young refugees through Baobab’s community-based music activities.

Go ahead and donate now – and come on June 5 to celebrate Franco’s birthday at Kilburn Bridge Pub in London with a special night filled with music, love, and good company to raise.

Our volunteers, fundraisers and generous donors make it possible for us to change lives. The support and help that we receive takes many forms and is invaluable. If you can give a donation, volunteer your time, or sign a petition, it all helps us be there for young people.

“When I am alone it’s too much. There is too much stuff going on inside my head. Sometimes I feel like giving up. But when you see people who understand, who are on your side, for the first time, you have courage and hope. It’s like when you are fighting a battle and you lose everyone. Then all of a sudden reinforcements come you feel that you can win. Baobab gives me the foundations and I can start building from there.”
