Can I volunteer at Baobab?

Can I do a research project at Baobab?

We occasionally partner with researchers to assist with our existing research projects and also consider research project proposals. Here, you can read about our research or Submit a request.

Can I film or interview people at Baobab?

Due to the context of our work and sensitivity around protection and confidentiality, we do not welcome filming or photography of the young people at Baobab. Requests to conduct interviews are reviewed on a case by case basis. Submit a request

Can I self refer myself to Baobab?

Unfortunately young people can’t self refer themselves. Baobab only accept referrals from NGOs, lawyers and official public authorities representing the young person.
How to make a referral

Can I donate clothes or resources?

Yes, donations in good condition are welcomed at Baobab. We are often on the look out for second-hand bikes and laptops in particular. Get in touch

I do not need psychotherapy, can Baobab help me with my housing situation?

No, we do not offer casework support separately. All support is delivered in a holistic and integrative way. Young people referred to Baobab must attend a clinical assessment and attend regular individual psychotherapy as part of the support they receive.
