General Election: Time to listen to young people

The current asylum system, in particular, is in complete disarray, especially as far as children and young people are concerned. We urge all parties as they enter campaign season to listen to the voices of young people who are seeking asylum in the UK.

At the Baobab Centre we will continue to carry their voices to speak truth to power and are looking forward to working with a new government soon to improve welcome for young people in Britain – towards an asylum and social care system that actively helps young people rebuild lives here.
