Statement on Ukraine

As more news comes in of atrocities committed by the Russian army invading Ukraine, the Baobab Centre wishes to express solidarity with all people fleeing violence.
The young people in our community have all come from situations of harm and have all suffered acts of terrible cruelty in the home countries and on their journeys, and many have been stirred up by the violence we are all witnessing unleashed on Ukraine, or meted out to Russian dissidents and activists who criticise the actions of their government.
