A few words about me

I am a development and fundraising professional originally from the US. I joined Baobab in May 2022 after completing my Master’s program in International History at the LSE. I have worked in a diverse range of organisations, and served refugee communities in a voluntary capacity in NYC.

What does your role at Baobab involve?

As the Fundraising Officer, I am tasked with securing financial support from various trusts, foundations and major donors. This means mostly writing proposals and reports, but also working in reception, planning events, and fundamentally, building and maintaining relationships.

What is your desert island book or music?

Anything by Stevie Wonder, Audre Lorde, James Baldwin, Cleo Sol, Frantz Fanon, Curtis Mayfield, Angela Davis, Nina Simone, Dinah Washington, D’Angelo or Octavia Butler.

What 3 words would you use to describe Baobab?
